Tim Ho Wan has opened up in prime position on Bourke Street and offering the busy CBD crowd a serving of Michelin starred dumplings at a very reasonable price. Finally the queues out of the door have died down and we were able to grab a spot and a couple of beers whilst we refuelled for a little more shopping.
One of the specials was the Cheesey prawn croutons, super crunchy fried balls packed with prawn and cheese – I don’t know how they made the balls with their square spike but they were super yum!
Prawn dumpling with wasabi – little pastry pocket with good hunks of prawn and that lovely creamy wasabi drizzle.
Pork dumplings with shrimp were jam packed full of flavour and great with a cold beer.
It was a super short stop today but it was great to try a few of the dishes and the bill was very reasonable, I’m sure we’ll pop back to try some more including those signature baked pork buns.
