Fruit Compote Breakie Croissant Rolls
Makes breakie for two lucky people 😉
- Pack of ALDI’s croissant rolls – just using two (freeze the rest for another weekend breakie treat)
Fruity Compote;
- 1 pack of blueberries
- 1 pack of strawberries topped and quartered
- Juice and zest of half a lemon
- 1/4 tsp salt
Ricotta Swirl;
- 100grams of smooth ricotta
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Zest of quarter of an orange
- 1 tsp sugar
Method:
- Put the fruity compote ingredients in a pan on a high heat with the lid on for 8 minutes until the fruit has softened and the juicies are syrupy
- Warm the croissant under the grill for 2 minutes each side
- Mix the ricotta ingredients together
- Spread ricotta on each half of the croissant roll
- Top with the fruity deliciousness
- Enjoy!
